The Institute for Entrepreneurship serves as an access point to several types of university resources and services for entrepreneurs and small business owners, as well as aspiring entrepreneurs.The aim is to advance and promote entrepreneurship at the Broad College of Business,  Michigan State University, and in the State of Michigan through researcheducation and outreach.

MSU Technologies

MSU Technologies is Michigan State University's technology transfer and commercialization office. MSTS manages MSU's extensive intellectruall property portfolio, and identifies, evaluates, and protects innovations created by researchers. In 2011, MSU researchers disclosed 1100 technologies, and MSUT file 125 patent applicatoins.

Spartan Innovations

Spartan Innovations provides the educational and financial support necessary to turn MSU research technologies into successful Michigan businesses – and spur entrepreneurship in the Michigan economy.
