Brooking's Institute Terrorism Resources.  Continually updated material on Terrorism conducted by the Brookings Institution, a non-profit public policy organization.

Chicago Project on Security and Terrorism (CPOST). Supports broad-based, original research on terrorism and international security. The Chicago Project maintains a complete worldwide knowledge base of suicide attacks and attackers, martyr videos, terrorist group profiles, and multidisciplinary analyses confronting core international security challenges.

Combatting Terrorism Center at West Point.  One of the leading academic institutions devoted to the study of terrorism. Our research agenda is informed by three core themes: studying emerging threats, challenging conventional logic and offering counter intuitive insights, and highlighting unique sources of information from around the world in our research products. Our commitment to rigorous analysis is complimented by a interdisciplinary approach which blends theoretical insights, deep religious and cultural understanding, and modern scientific method to generate practical conclusions for addressing the terrorist threat.

International Institute for Counter-Terrorism (Israel).

Investigative Project on Terrorism.  The world's most comprehensive data center on radical Islamic terrorist groups. For more than a decade, the IPT has investigated the operations, funding, activities and front groups of Islamic terrorist and extremist groups in the United States and around the world. It has become a principal source of critical evidence to a wide variety of government offices and law enforcement agencies, as well as the U.S. Congress and numerous public policy forums. Research carried out by the IPT team has formed the basis for thousands of articles and television specials on the subject of radical Islamic involvement in terrorism, and has even led to successful government action against terrorists and financiers based in the United States.

Monash University (Australia), Global Terrorism  Research Centre.

National Consortium for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism (START).  Headquartered at the University of Maryland, a university-based research and education center comprised of an international network of scholars committed to the scientific study of the causes and human consequences of terrorism in the United States and around the world.

University of St. Andrews (U.K.), Handa Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence.  The Handa Centre for the Study of Terrorism and Political Violence (CSTPV) is dedicated to the study of the causes, dynamics, characteristics and consequences of terrorism and related forms of political violence. In doing so, it is committed to rigorous, evidence-based, scholarly analysis that is policy-relevant but independent. Founded in 1994, the Centre is Europe's oldest for the study of terrorism.  Check out the film clips and the publications by staff members.
