UGS 200: Conducting Community Based Research While Applying Health Informatics: Finding Articles

Nursing Databases @ the MSU Libraries

Use the databases listed below to find citations (and sometimes, electronic full text) of journal articles.

Need Help Finding Articles?

Most databases have a help/search tips section.

This handout from the University of Minnesota does a great job explaining Search Connectors (AND, OR).

Contact Heidi to set up an appointment or stop by her office hours on Wednesdays from 2-4 in the Bott Building Atrium.

Need Full-Text Articles?

If you don't see full-text directly in a database, try using the 'Find Text @ MSU' link to automatically connect to full-text.

If the 'Find Text @ MSU' link doesn't work, remember you can always enter the name of the journal into the Library Catalog and select "Journal/Periodical Title" from the dropdown. The Catalog can be found on the right-hand side of the Health Sciences Digital Library website.

If you need an article from a journal the MSU Libraries doesn't subscribe to you, you can get it for free through InterLibrary Loan!
