This is a guide to older works of folklore, history, and literature that include information on Halloween, secondary sources, and a couple of web sites. We had an exhibit. Last updated 06-07-2023

I regret that I was not able to answer all the questions posed in the exhibit we had.  There was not space in the case to include all I would have liked to.

Other Halloween topics to address in future years:  how other countries celebrate it; more on its roots in the British Isles; more on its history in the United States; Halloween in comics; Halloween in film and on television.
