Searching ProQuest

MSU faculty, students, and staff with a Net ID and password may search this index off-campus.

ProQuest Dissertations and Theses offers an index to search for over 1.4 million doctoral dissertations and master theses (1861- current)  from MSU and other universities across the globe. Search by keyword, subject, title, or author. Full text is available for most titles from 1997-present.

More colleges and universities such as the University of Minnesota are setting up digital repositories to make theses and dissertations freely available on the Internet.  Try inputing keywords, author, title, or academic institution in a search engine, such as Google Scholar, to check for full-text availability.
