Popular or Scholarly?

Modern Language Association International Bibliography
An index to scholarship on literature and literature-related topics, including theatre studies.
Annual Bibliography of English Language and Literature
Also an index to literature and literature-related scholarship. When getting to the LION homepage then select the search for Criticism and Reference.
ProQuest
A general place to start with popular, scholarly, trade, and newspaper articles on nearly every topic. Many articles are full-text.
Expanded Academic ASAP
Provides citations and some full-text of popular and scholarly articles in the social sciences, humanities, science and technology, national news, and general interest.
WilsonSelectPlus
Full text of popular and scholarly articles in art, education, health, business, general sciences, and many areas of general interest.
