  • Public administration: including local, state, and federal government. Political advocacy groups and nonprofit organizations. Foreign and international.

  • Public finance: governmental auditing, budgeting, accounting, and taxation policy. Materials in these areas are also ordered by Economics and Business selectors.

  • Government services: including police, fire, libraries, roads, transport, water supply, etc. Materials in these areas are also ordered by Urban Affairs selector.

  • Public health: special emphasis on economic and organizational aspects. Health science librarians also purchase in this area, but are restricted by huge portion of their budgets devoted to serial acquisitions.
