KIN 173: Foundations of Kinesiology: How to Locate Journals, once you have found the Citation

The easiest way to locate a journal is to search the MSU libraries' online catalog

Conduct a title search of the journal that contains the article you want. For example, you've found the article "Athletic trainers' and physical therapists' perceptions of the effectiveness of psychological skills within sport injury rehabilitation programs" in the journal Journal of Athletic Training, May-June 2008; 43(3): 258.

From the Main Library's homepage, click on Resources, near the top of the page, then click on Library Catalog. In the box to the right click on Journal/Periodical Title, then type in (the title of the journal) in this case Journal of Athletic Training.

If MSU has access to the title, there should be links to the paper and/or online version of the journal. MSU has this title in print and online from 1989-present. so the article "Athletic trainers' and physical therapists' perceptions of the effectiveness of psychological skills within sport injury rehabilitation programs" is available electronically and in print.
