KIN 445: Sociocultural Analysis of Physical Activity: How to Locate Journals, once you have found the Citation

This course looks at the Sociocultural context of and social practices in sport and physical activity.

The easiest way to locate a journal is to search the MSU libraries' online catalog

Conduct a title search of the journal that contains the article you want. For example, you've found the article "Mental Well-Being and Sport-Related Identities in College Students" in the journal Sociology of Sport Journal, June 2009; 26(2): 335-356.

From the Main Library's homepage, click on Advance Search: Catalog, click on Title, type in (the title of the journal) in this case Sociology of Sport Journal.

If MSU has access to the title, there should be links to the paper and/or online version of the journal. MSU has this title in print and online from 1984-present. so the article "Mental Well-Being and Sport Related Identities in College Students" is available electronically and in print.
