Searching in LexisNexis without Keywords by using Advanced Search and Index Terms

This search will find all news articles on your geography of interest. You can use subject index terms to narrow as desired, or simply keywords.

Click on Advanced Options to set up your search:

Hit Apply. This closes the Advanced Search options and shows an empty search box, but if you look underneath you will see your set-up options.

You can leave the search box empty and run the search on just the advanced search options you chose, for example to get all news articles classified for the geography of Lyon, France.

On the results page, you can then narrow by subject classification to relevant subjects (e.g., urbanization, urban development, etc.). Or, you can use the "Search within these results" search box (right-hand side of screen, not shown below) to narrow by keywords. Or, you can simply browse through the results.
