Research and Technical Assistance

Librarians are happy to provide research assistance, so don't be afraid to ask for help! Most college libraries will staff a Reference or Help Desk for walk-in customers, schedule personal consultations, or take questions via telephone, e-mail, chat, or instant message. They may also provide technical support such as diagnosing and resolving problems connecting to library resources and/or using course management software. Librarians often specialize in a particular subject discipline so, depending on your area of research, you might consult with one or more librarians. The MSU help options are listed below:
