Civilization of the American Indian Series(University of Oklahoma) is available in the MSU Main Library. The Civilization of the American Indian Series has as its purpose the presentation of aboriginal, historical, and contemporary American Indian life. The aboriginal field includes studies of Indian culture based upon investigation in the foundational sciences of anthropology and archaeology. The historical field embraces studies of European-Indian contacts. Studies of contemporary Indian life envisage problems in acculturation, group and personal conflicts, and maladjustments resulting from the impact of Europeans upon aboriginal American culture.
