There is a trend in Chinese publishing business to publish sets of volumes of books. Oftentimes these large sets of books are not available in e-format. To collect or not to collect these significant printed resources poses a challenge for implementing the collection policy.
The East Asian Studies selector should cooperate closely with Business Librarians, Art librarian and Music librarian in implementing collection responsibilities when selecting materials in these areas.
