Link to Books @ Ovid (including Lippincott's Clinical Choice)

Always use the IP authenticated link above to access this resource. This will ensure you can create stable links

You CANNOT use the URL to the book that displays in your internet browser's address bar. This URL will time out and be inaccessible within a few hours.

Creating Stable Links to Books in Books @ Ovid Texts

1. Find the book, either through our ebook guide, finding the text in MSU's library catalog, or by searching Books @ Ovid (via the library link to the platform). All of these options will give you a link that can be used without any changes.

2a. In our ebook guide right-click on the book's titles and copy the link. That link can be pasted directly into your course materials. It will already have the ezproxy string attached to it.

2b. You can also search for a book in MSU's library catalog. Select the title you want, make sure it is followed by [electronic resource] because this title denotes an electronic book from a print book. In the electronic book's catalog record right-click on the link below the "Available Online:" text. This link contain the ezproxy string and can be pasted directly into course materials.

For example, Berek & Novak's Gynecology is linked like this from the library catalog: https://ezproxy.msu.edu/login?url=http://ovidsp.ovid.com/ovidweb.cgi?T=JS&NEWS=n&CSC=Y&PAGE=booktext&D=books&SC=01634959
