Introduction

This is a general guide for those interested in the subject area of Veterinary Technology. Links to the most frequently used print and electronic resources are provided to help you find information and research in the areas of veterinary nursing, internal medicine, surgery, oncology, cardiology, emergency and critical care medicine, nutrition, physiology, and more.

Health Sciences Digital Library

The Health Sciences Digital Library (HSDL) has a Veterinary Medicine section for resources that are of the most interest to those in CVM.

Off-Campus Access

MSU students, faculty, and staff can access the MSU Libraries electronic resources when off-campus by logging in with their MSU Net ID and password.

Checking Out Books

Need a book from the MSU Libraries?

MSU undergraduate students, including those in the Veterinary Technology program, must check out books in person at the Main Library using their MSU ID.

Requesting Material

For items that are not available electronically the MSU Libraries provides free copies of journal articles and individual book chapters for personal use. Documents will be made available through your library account.

What if the item you need is not available at the MSU Libraries? To obtain items that the MSU Libraries do not own, such as books or journal articles, you can request an Interlibrary Loan through the Get It @MSU service.
