What is Zotero?

Zotero is a free open-source online reference management tool used to collect, organize, and format citations to journal articles, books, websites, and other types of resources.  It works as an extension with the Firefox internet browser.

In many cases, Zotero will recognize a source that can be saved by displaying an icon in the Firefox address bar allowing you to simply click and add the item instantly to your Zotero library.
