Checking Out Items
Need a book from the MSU Libraries?
MSU users can check out books and other items in person at the Main Library using their MSU ID.

Distance Delivery ServiceThe MSU Library ships material to all students, faculty, and staff in the US and Canada regardless of distance from campus. Items can be shipped back to us or returned to campus at any of our book returns.
Requesting Material
Article DeliveryThe MSU Libraries provides free scans of journal articles and individual book chapters from our print collection for personal use. Documents are made available through your
ILLiad account.
Request Non-MSU MaterialWhat if the item you need is not available at the MSU Libraries? To obtain items that the MSU Libraries do not own, such as books or journal articles, you can request an Interlibrary Loan through the Get It @MSU service.
