Update: Education Statistics

The Trump Administration's efforts to dismantle the Department of Education has direct effects on the education data and research we depend on. Several of the resources recommended below are either shells of their former selves or no longer exist. I am leaving them linked in the interest of posterity at this point in time. However, be aware that the following are no longer up to date sources they once were:

  • What Works Clearinghouse
  • Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System (IPEDS)
  • National Center for Education Statistics (NCES)
    • Digest of Education Statistics
    • National Assessment of Educational Progress (often referred to as "The Nation's Report Card")
    • Common Core of Data
    • Schools & Staffing Survey
    • Digest of Education Statistics
