The Center for Statistical Training and Consulting (CSTAT) is a professional service and research unit at Michigan State University. CSTAT supports research and provides training and consulting in statistics for faculty, staff, and graduate students. Fees are normally not charged to on-campus users.

CSTAT also sponsors free training workshops in statistical methodology, with topics ranging from basic to advanced. There are 10-12 workshops per academic year, as well as a few during the summer semester.
The Trump Administration's efforts to dismantle the Department of Education has direct effects on the education data and research we depend on.
