OMM for Pediatric Patients
Purpose: The primary purpose of this event is to gain perspective regarding other members of the healthcare team and to understand the roles of those members.
Learning Objectives: The OPC students should be able to do the following at the end of the learning event:
- Identify the roles of physicians and those of other professions to appropriately assess and address the healthcare needs of the patient.
- Identify areas where other health care professionals can collaborate with the management of the patient to improve patient outcomes based on patients’ medical conditions, starting with SP/OSCE sessions in the OPC Course.
