Searching for Books

When looking for resources and material in the Sciences and other related topics you can search by Keyword, Subject, Author, or Title via the library's online catalog. The catalog contains records for books, journals, audiovisual materials, government documents, microforms, special collections, and other materials owned and accessible via the MSU libraries. This link "Find Books" explains how to locate books in the MSU libraries.

Searching for Books - example:

For example, you are looking for "books on the elderly and the benefits of exercise". A basic search may include the terms "exercise" and "aging".

Performing a keyword search in the catalog yields approximately 464 results.

Browse through the titles.

Once you choose a title click on the link.

The results will provide all the citation information you need and the call number to find the book.
