This article assumes that you're writing a research proposal to submit for support or funding, so it's describing something slightly different from your Capstone project. But the parts on the sections in a proposal may be useful.

The section labeled "Resources Related to Proposal Writing" links to many useful resources on submitting government grants. Some of the information won't be useful to you, because government grants often have specific formats for proposals. But you can get an idea of what people look for when they evaluate research proposals.
