The Diverse Book Finder is an amazing free resource to find books for your collection. Use it to find different forms, like biography or graphic novel. Or to search by award. There are many filters so explore!
There are a plethora of reading recommendation blogs out there. The ones I have found most helpful typically include recommendations from experts in children's and young adult literature. (Who is an "expert" is another discussion...)

The American Library Association (ALA) has several well-known awards given out annually to children's and young adult books. The relevant awards for your IRL project are listed below.

The Printz award is also an ALA award and is given for excellence in young adult literature. It can be helpful to look at these winners to find text-only novels.
