The goal of the Midwest Cover Crops Council (MCCC) is to facilitate widespread adoption of cover crops throughout the Midwest, to improve ecological, economic, and social sustainability.
Census of Agriculture - Historical Reports, USDA Ag Census website
The 1840 Census was the first to include statistics on agriculture. Since then, each subsequent census has continued to gauge the overall picture of U.S. agriculture. Agricultural Final Estimates Statistical Bulletins
These bulletins contain final estimates, including revisions made by the Agricultural Statistics Board (ASB), for five-year periods preceding the Census of Agriculture. Data included in these publications provide an historic record and a benchmark for current estimates.
