To search specific newspapers, newswires or transcripts in Factiva, click on Search or Search Builder.
Click Source in the left column to expand the section.
Enter the name of the publication you want to search (eg Washington Post, ABC News, etc.). If there are multiple matching options, the i icon will give more information including dates of coverage.
Click once on the title in the results list to add it to the search. Add more sources by repeating these steps.
To remove a source, click the arrow next to a source name.
Enter your free text terms in the upper box. Specify your date range in the drop down box.
Click on the Search button.
