Smart notebooks and pens allow users to turn handwritten notes into digital notes. Some smart pens record audio and sync written notes with the recorded audio. Most smart pens and notebooks require specific/custom paper and pens. This guide is intended to provide information on the types and features of smart notebooks and pens available at the MSU Libraries. As of the Fall 2024 semester, we have Rocketbooks and pens available for checkout at the Main Library Circulation Desk. Rocketbooks and pens can be checked out for 14 days.
