A. Curricular/Research/Programmatic needs

The Department of Economics offers undergraduate, Masters and PhD programs and houses researchers with a wide range of interests. The Department aims to “provide a broad education about all aspects of the domestic and international economies, including institutions, concepts, policy, and the tools of analysis.” The Department has a large undergraduate enrollment with over 700 majors. Areas of specialization for doctoral students are the History of Economic Thought, Econometrics, Advanced Macroeconomics, Public Economics, International Trad, International Finance and Open Economy Macroeconomics, Economic Development, Industrial Organization, Labor Economics, Economic Theory and Environmental and Resource Economics.

The collection also supports the instruction and research needs of faculty, staff and students in numerous departments and centers outside the Department of Economics, such as departments in the College of Business, department of Agricultural, Food and Resource Economics and School of Labor Relations and Human Resources.
