WRDS Access

Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) is only accessible to MSU faculty, staff, and students.

You must request an account to use it. Register for an account here: https://wrds-www.wharton.upenn.edu/register/.  

Once you have an account, you may access WRDS from any computer here: https://wrds-www.wharton.upenn.edu/

What is WRDS?

Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS) is a database interface that allows user to manipulate datasets to do research. The available datasets are heavy on finance.

Accessing the Data

WRDS may be accessed either through a web interface, WRDS cloud, or on your PC using SAS, Python, or R. More information: https://wrds-www.wharton.upenn.edu/pages/about/3-ways-use-wrds/ (Must log in to view.)
