The catalog can be searched to find items owned and located in the MSU Libraries, including books, journals, government documents, DVDs, CDs, and more.
When should you use the catalog?
NOTE: You cannot use the catalog to find individual articles within a journal. For this you must search in the journal itself or use an article database.
If you live in Michigan you can use the MSU Libraries!
Michigan residents at least eighteen years old (who are not current MSU students, faculty, or staff) are eligible for community library privileges. To receive a library card, you must show a valid Michigan driver's license or State of Michigan picture ID card containing your residential mailing address.
More information is available on the MSU Libraries Borrowing @ MSU page.
Michigan residents also have access to books and online resources through the Michigan eLibrary (MeL).
This is a select list of recent books available from the MSU Libraries. You may also want to check with your public library as they likely have a variety of pet care books available as well. Ebooks available from the MSU Libraries can only be accessed off-campus by MSU users with a valid Net ID and password. If you do not have a MSU Net ID you are welcome to visit the Main Library to access these titles.
