Quiet Spaces

  • The entire east wing of the Main Library is designated as quiet study.
  • There is a Reflection Room on the 2nd floor East.

Collaborative/Louder Spaces

  • The entire west wing of the Main Library is designated as collaborative study, which will make it louder. 
  • MakerSpace - An alternative learning environment and gathering space that encourages cross-discipline collaboration, experimentation and learning. All students, staff, faculty and community members can use the space for maker projects and activities. It can be noisy in the MakerSpace.

  • MSU Libraries Health & Wellness LibGuideThis guide brings together books and information about community services and health information that support wellness and physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Health & Wellness Information Center Collection - A collection of materials and books that can be checked out on topics like: LGBTQI identity, nutrition, counseling, mental health, trauma, housing, legal aid, disabilities, healthcare, sexuality, grief, and more. Located in the south lobby of the Main Library. 
  • Self-Care Lending Library - noise canceling headphones and light-therapy lamps can be checked out from the MakeCentral service desk on the 2nd floor west.
