We have lots of books about sociology and related topics in the Main Library! Most of the collection is located in the Library of Congress Call Number range in the H's and primarily within HM-HV. These books are housed in the East Wing of the Main Library on the 3rd floor.
The best way to search for books in by using the Library Catalog. Once you find one or two books that match your topic, you can browse in that call number area for additional relevant titles.
What's in the catalog?
If the item you are looking for is checked out or the MSU Libraries do not own the item, you may request it from another library (at no charge) by following these instructions:
1. Double-check the MSU Library catalog. Please be certain the we do not own the item or that it is checked out.
2. Submit an InterLibrary loan request in ILLiad.
For more information about requesting books visit the InterLibrary Services guide.
If the item you want is listed in the Library Catalog as checked out you may submit and ILL request through ILLiad by selecting the "Get it!" button in the catalog record.
