MSU State of Love Sticker Design Contest

Information on the MSU State of Love Sticker Design Contest

Design Guidelines, Eligibility & How to Submit Your Entry

Sponsored by the Religions Exploration Club, in partnership with the MSU Libraries, Department of Religious Studies, the Muslim Studies Program, and the Serling Institute for Jewish Studies & Modern Israel, the sticker campaign seeks sticker designs around the theme of building community and promoting love rather than hate.

Entries will be accepted from current MSU undergraduate and graduate students and one $100 prize will be awarded! The winning designer agrees to release of their name and the public use and production of their design under creative commons license use (CC BY-NC-ND). For clear and effective production, designs might be slightly modified. The sticker will be offered to the public in exchange for a $1 minimum donation to the MSU Student Food Bank.

Important Design Guidelines

For best printing quality, please adhere as closely as possible to the following parameters:

  • Stickers will be printed in 2x2 inch squares - please design according to this size restriction.
  • Full color using CMYK values – please note that Pantone colors will be converted to their CMYK equivalent values during the printing process.
  • Words/letters must use at least 6 point font and should be clearly legible – please consider the color and style of font in relation to the sticker background and 2x2 inch size.
  • Images should be uploaded as vector artwork or high resolution images at 300 PPI or better.
  • Images should be saved in one of the following formats: .eps, .ai, .pdf, .svg, or .sketch
  • Please do not use .gif, .jpeg, or .png, .tif, or .psd
