When You Just Need a Good App

Lugging a book around the field can be work - which you might not always want. For casual ID, for keeping life long lists, or for simple ease, a phone app can be an excellent way to ID what you see without the extra weight. Below is a list of apps that I use and trust, although for important ID, I always go to a book. Being able to ID something based on characters, rather than having an app take a guess, is what I am for when identifying an organism!
