This service provides copies of non-electronic journal articles and individual book chapters that the MSU Libraries own to MSU faculty, staff, and students for personal research. Documents will be made available through your library account.
To submit a request, logon to the Libraries' ILLiad system and select New Requests and then Scan (Article/Book Chapter). This will open an article request form. Please complete the form as fully as possible. This service is also available through many of the libraries’ online databases. Telephone requests are not accepted. Questions about this service should be directed to Interlibrary Services.
Requests are typically satisfied in 1 to 3 business days.
Interlibrary Services can also borrow books and other materials from other libraries. Delivery times vary, but are generally about 5-10 business days. See the Interlibrary Services webpage for more information on borrowing from other libraries.
