The MSU Library Makerspace is an active learning environment and gathering space that encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration, experimentation and learning. The Makerspace offers unique technologies, mediated 3D printing, laser cutting and CNC fabrication services, and a place for the MSU community to create and make.
The purpose of the Makerspace collection is primarily to support learning the technologies of the space, such as laser cutting, 3D printing, CNC utilization as well as CAD (computer aided design) and other design and crafting skills. A secondary purpose of the collection is to support space and staff development.
