CRL Science and Technology Research Guide
The Center for Research Libraries (CRL) is an international consortium of university, college, and independent research libraries. The references feature many of the strengths of CRL’s science and technology holdings. Links point to more detailed descriptions in the CRL catalog, as well as digital versions of the content or digitized finding aids for microfilm where available. Collecting in this area continues through the purchase programs.
"H-Net creates and coordinates Internet networks with the common
objective of advancing teaching and research in the arts, humanities,
and social sciences. H-Net is committed to pioneering the use of new
communication technology to facilitate the free exchange of academic
ideas and scholarly resources.
"Among H-Net's most important activities is its sponsorship of over 100
free electronic, interactive newsletters ("lists") edited by scholars
in North America, South America, Europe, Africa, and the Pacific.
"H-Net lists enable scholars to easily communicate current research and
teaching interests; to discuss new approaches, methods and tools of
analysis; to share information on electronic databases; and to test new
ideas and share comments on the literature in their fields."
