The Parliamentary Debates, known as Hansard after the first government printer, are the official record of what is said on the floors of the House of Commons and the House of Lords. Below is a list of our holdings covering 18th century to present, with library locations, and call numbers. These sets have name and topic indexing at various points, for instance, at the back of the volume, at the end of the Parliamentary Session, or at the conclusion of a set. For earlier Debates’ volumes consult the earlier version of this research guide: Finding British Parliamentary Papers in the M.S.U. Libraries.
