Provides access to articles in scholarly, peer-reviewed business journals, trade journals and business news publications. Includes the full-text of the Wall Street Journal, the Financial Times and the Economist. Also has videos, ebooks, and company, industry, and country reports from providers such as Fitch Solutions and Economist Intelligence Unit, and analyst reports from J.P. Morgan.
Business Source Complete
Provides access to articles in scholarly, peer-reviewed business journals, trade journals, & business new publications. Includes the full-text of the Harvard Business Review.
PsycINFO including PsycARTICLES
Contains summaries of the world's journal literature, dissertation, technical reports, & of English-language chapters & books in psychology & related disciplines.
VitalLaw
Contains labor & employment law cases dating back to 1937, labor arbitration awards, official EEOC & NLRB manuals, the Employment Law Daily, the HR Compliance Library, & more.

These databases are great places to start when you're trying to find out information about specific companies.

MarketLine
Provides companies profiles, industry reports, country and city information, case studies, financial deals, industry social media influencers, and news articles. Many of the company profiles have SWOT analyses and the industry reports have Porter's Five Forces analyses.
LSEG Workspace
(Formerly known as Refinitiv Workspace)
We subscribe to LSEG Workspace including M&As, SDC Platinum App, and Aftermarket Research (AMR) reports also known as Investext.
Workspace provides information on public & private global companies and includes financials and filings, news & corporate events, ESG information, deals and much more. AMR reports provide analyst research reports on companies and industries from top investment banks, brokerage firms, and consulting firms worldwide.
Mergent Online
***Mergent Online has been discontinued by Mergent and access ended June 30, 2025. Please use one of our other company databases: Mergent Market Atlas, LSEG Workspace, or FactSet. ***
Provides comprehensive company data for U.S. and International public and private companies. Mergent is good for finding company financials, SEC filings (US only) current and historical annual reports for U.S. and International public companies, stock information, and executive information. It also has company history, competitors, company ownership (i.e. institutional holdings, insiders, etc.), corporate calendar, company news, industry profiles, and country profiles. ***To search the private companies, select D&B Private Company Database. Includes separate tabs for Mergent Supply Chain, Mergent Bond Viewer, and Mergent Investext.***

Best Bets - Industry Research

These database are great to use when you want to research a whole industry (ex.: auto manufacturing).

IBISWorld
Provides readable high level analysis for industries from the United States, some US states, worldwide, and in Canada and China. Includes supply chain, market share, and ease of entry industry data.
Passport GMID
Provides U.S. and International reports, data, and news for industries, companies and brands, economy, and consumers. It focuses more on the consumer products and services but also also contains sections supply sections for ingredients and packaging.
Mergent Investext
***Mergent Investext in Mergent Online is being discontinued by Mergent and access will end June 30, 2025. You can find Investext in LSEG Workspace.***
Investext provides analyst research reports on companies and industries from top investment banks, brokerage firms, and consulting firms worldwide. Coverage is global and dates from the 1980s to the present.
