Conference proceedings are an important information source in computer science. Conference proceedings include papers summarizing the research presented at a specific conference. Conferences can also be called symposia, workshop, congress, colloquium, or annual meeting.
To find a paper from a conference, first identify the sponsor of the conference. For example, both ACM and IEEE sponsor many computer science related conferences. If the sponsor is one of the organizations in the database list below, you can follow the link to find the papers. If the sponsor isn't one of the organizations below, you can search our library catalog for the content. Search for the name of the conference, rather than the name of the paper. If we don't have the proceedings from that conference, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan. You may also find the conference proceedings freely available on the conference or sponsor website. If you have any problems, please contact the Engineering Librarian for assistance.
