You will need this in order to log in to any of the MSU Libraries' databases or online resources! Your username will be whatever your MSU email is (i.e., if your email is firstname.lastname@example.org, your username will be covid19). Your password may not be the same, though.
To activate your netID (this shouldn't be necessary): https://netid.msu.edu/activate.html
To change your netID password if you can't remember it: https://secureit.msu.edu/sspr-process/index.html
The library doesn't control netIDs, although our electronic resources require them. To get help, contact the NetID office.
AccessPhysiotherapy (APT) is an online medical resource that provides students with the tools they need to excel in basic and advanced studies and crucial test prep. APT provides students and residents with interactive content, self-assessment, and leading medical texts to enhance decision-making at the point-of-care. It allows for practicing physical therapists to brush up on their medical knowledge to ensure best patient outcomes. It includes a complete full-text library of clinical textbooks, including Dutton’s Orthopaedic Examination, Evaluation, and Intervention, 4e, and many others.
You have free access to this resource through the library subscription to NEJM. You'd still have to pay for the CME credit elements to use them, but there are a number of useful quizzes/interactive cases/videos for different specialties, as well as a "Residents Lounge" where you can talk to other residents from different parts of the country and attend online journal clubs.
