ILLIAD - Interlibrary Loan Requests
ILLIAD is the Interlibrary loan system for articles, books, government documents, and other materials. It is used to process MARS requests and for items not held at MSU Libraries. For questions about ILLIAD and placing requests, please consult the ILLIAD FAQs. First-time requesters will need to register and create a password, about a 2-3 minute process, after which you can begin immediately to place requests.

MSU Electronic Theses & Dissertations (ETD)
This collection contains over 35,000 ETDs written at MSU dating from 1899 to the present. These are freely available without an MSU login. It is just the digital subset of the Theses & Dissertations collection, of which MSU Library is the official depository.

ProQuest Dissertations and Theses Global
Comprehensive collection of fulltext dissertations and theses since 1997 and strong retrospective full text coverage for earlier periods. Includes MSU dissertations and theses.
Dissertations & Theses @ BTAA Institutions
Formerly called Current Research @ CIC Institutions, this ProQuest site provides access to dissertations and theses from MSU and other Big Ten Academic Alliance (formerly CIC) institutions (Big Ten plus University of Chicago); from 1997 onward, full text is available. Citations and abstracts are available for earlier documents.

Finding Media - DVDs, Streaming films, Music, etc.

MSU Libraries provide access to many purchased or leased streaming videos that are not freely available on the internet. There are records for streaming videos in the library catalog just like there are for books, DVDs and other materials.

Type the video / film title into the search box and select Title from the drop-down box.
In the format column below, select the format(s) you need. Hold the CTRL key to click and select multiple options.

To limit to streaming or online videos,
Add the term 'streaming' to the search.
Add other keywords to narrow the search.
