The Nation's Report Card: Arts 2008
This report presents the results of the 2008 National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) arts assessment. It was administered to a nationally representative sample of 7,900 eighth-grade public and private school students.

- National Assessment of Educational Progress: The Arts presents a broad view of how well America's students can respond to, create, and perform works of visual art, music, and theatre. The NAEP Arts assessment is administered to 8th grade students in public and private schools. Alternative access: NAEP Arts Assessment CD includes the text of the printed version of the 1997 report card, as well as multimedia samples of student artwork and music and theater performances.
- Arts Education in Public Elementary and Secondary Schools are a series of reports published by the NCES.
