This collection development statement is based on earlier SSHR texts prepared by Linda Driscoll in September 1998 and a draft Consulting Reference text prepared by a committee led by Jane Arnold in March 1999 that was revised during the move and merger in 1999. The previous version of 1999 was based on more extensive use of Consulting Reference space. Changes in the 2005 text reflect current practices.
