To export your map, select "Export" in the upper right corner.

Follow the instructions. Select the size and orientation. You may also crop the map.

Then select the Layout. 

Finally, select the format of the image and how you want to get it.

There is an option to export it as shapefiles. You can find the option under "View Actions". This guide shows how to export maps to a shapefile.
