French Film: Films on VHS/DVD/Blu-Ray and ROVI Collection

This is a guide to finding French films available in the M.S.U. Libraries. Last updated 06-05-2023

Films on VHS/DVD/Blu-Ray and ROVI Collection

Check the M.S.U. Libraries' Books and Media for the title of the film sought.

We gained a huge number of DVDs with the gift collection we received in 2015 called the Rovi Media Collection.  Rovi contained 164,490 films December, 2014; it does include "foreign films." Search our online catalog by title for the film desired.  If we have it it will be housed in the Digital and Multimedia Center (DMC) 4th floor, West wing.  We subsequently sent many to Internet Archive to be digitized.

None of our videos, DVDs or Blu-Rays are on open shelves, browsable by patrons.  If the desired film is in our Digital and Multimedia Center (DMC), go to their service desk to obtain it, 4th floor, West wing.

The check out period for videos and DVDs for M.S.U. faculty, students, and staff is seven days.  However, if the item is on reserve for a class, the check out period is four hours and it must be viewed in the Digital and Multimedia Center.
