Psychology Overview

A brief introduction to psychology research at MSU Libraries.

This guide provides a brief look at the research materials related to psychology available through the MSU Libraries.

It includes an introduction to PsycINFO, the major article index in the discipline, and a handful of specialized indexes. For more information on all psychology journals the library has to offer, check out the Psychology Journals LibGuide.

Additionally, this guide provides an overview of school psychology resources, prominent psychology associations, and information for finding encyclopedias, books, and e-resources from the library's extensive collections.

Like many disciplines, psychology has a substantial online presence. There are many sites, often with commercial interests, that provide psychology related content. Please see the listings on the Web Resources page for guidance to some of the best of the web.
