Classroom Assessment Techniques: CAT Basics and Tools for Librarians: Feedback Forms

Using Feedback Forms

Feedback forms can give you more options than a simple poll or text entry. These forms are ideal for more detailed pre- and post-class learning assessment, or simply an end of class assessment of student response.

  • Google Forms are excellent for this purpose - especially for collecting data for a large number of related sessions over a semester. Data is kept in a spreadsheet.
  • The Libguide User Feedback box is good for brief comments from students; results will be e-mailed to you. The language in the box is not customizable.
