MSU Libraries' Online Catalog

The catalog can be searched to find items owned and located in the MSU Libraries, including books, journals, government documents, DVDs, CDs, and more.

When should you use the catalog?

To find whether the MSU Libraries own a specific book
To browse for books on a topic
To find whether the MSU Libraries subscribe to a specific magazine, journal, or newspaper

NOTE: You cannot use the catalog to find individual articles within a journal. For this you must search in the journal itself or use an article database.

Checking Out Books

MSU students, faculty, and staff can check out books in person at the Main Library using their MSU ID.

Book Delivery

Need a book from the MSU Libraries?

Distance Delivery Service
The MSU Library ships material to all students, faculty, and staff that live more than 50 miles from campus. Items can be shipped back to us or returned to campus at any of our book returns.
On-Campus Office Delivery
MSU faculty and staff may have books delivered directly to their office. More information on this service is available on our Faculty Services page.
